I started using PerkyJazz as a username in 2001 when I became a member of Countingdown.com. No particular reason why I chose this username and until now I find it mind-boggling that I kind of got stuck with it. Especially when a friend of mine suggested that it sounds a bit like what some girl would use for an adult site *cringe*.
On chat and boards, people call me Perky or PJ. In the real world, I’m called Jazzy. I’m a training specialist in a BPO company.
My passions in life are bordering on eclectic. I’ve a passion for languages – teaching English and studying Spanish and Japanese. I love Korean food and drama. I listen to Mandarin love songs and my favourite actors are Jacky Chan and Antonio Banderas. On my next vacation, I will be cruising the waterways of Venice or drinking Evian by the foot of any of the great Egyptian Pyramids (unless my daughter gets her way, in which case, I’ll probably be shaking hands and taking pictures of the world’s most famous mouse).
During my spare time, aside from raiding the fridge, I write. I plant and harvest crops in Farmville, read books by Frederick Forsyth and John Grisham and torture the DVD remote.
I used to self-study playing the piano, editing music in CoolEdit PRO, editing pictures in PaintShop Pro7 and creating web pages with basic HTML. I also dabble a bit in cooking and audio transcription.
Oh, and right now… I’m working on this blog.
